FP6 - First IST Call for Proposals

The first IST call under the FP6 programme (FP6-2002-IST-1) was published on 17 December 2002.
The deadline for the call is 24 April 2003

The indicative total budget available for this call is EUR 1070 million of Community contribution.

The following language technology relevant research themes are open under the call:

• IST-2002-2.3.1.7 - Semantic-based knowledge systems
• IST-2002-2.3.1.6 - Multimodal interfaces

Proposals are accepted under the following project types ('instruments'): - Integrated Projects (IP), Networks of Excellence (NoE), Specific Targetted Research Projects (STRP), Coordination Actions (CA) and Specific Support Actions (SSA).
